One of my favorite picture books is
Green eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. The reason that i love this book is because the main character (it doesn't say his name), hasn't tried green eggs and ham yet, but he says that he doesn't like green eggs and ham, which is like me, i always say that i don't like something even though i haven't tried it yet. Probably because i am scared that it will taste bad. Anyway lets get onto the book. If you haven't read Green eggs and ham yet this is what its about its a person named Sam-I-am who goes up to the main character with a plate of green eggs and ham and says to the main character and says " do you like green eggs and ham" Then he says " I do not like them, Sam-I-am. I do not like Green eggs and ham" Next Sam-I-am try to persuade the main character to eat the green eggs and ham by saying " would you like them here or there", then the main character keeps turning him away until the very end when he tries them, i won't tell you all what happens. When I was very little my mom read to me probably until the age of 2 then i had to read on my own, no one really ever read to me, probably beacuse i never had time to read. I always did other activites. Not reading though. I was never much for reading, but when i did read i enjoyed all the picture books, when you read this book it will would make think twice about what you say, if you say you don't like a certain type of food even though you havn't tried it yet, try it, you might like it.
